Well folks, you've probably seen by now, that I'm having a little art show. I have 26 works for sale, which are currently displayed on crisp white walls under beautiful gallery lighting. Lets just say I'm a little chuffed with how it looks.
This brings me to you, and my hope that you can pop in and take it all in. You've heard me ramble on before about art and how important it and well, its power. Its power to transform not only a space, but to alter your soul. There really is some magic in art, and I'd love nothing more for than for you to head out look at some art this weekend. If you can't make it to my show that's ok ('ll miss you ),but there are galleries and art spaces everywhere - no excuses!. Just have a look and listen.
What happens when you listen?
I mean really Listen. Listen to the music on the radio, the sounds of the trees, the feeling in your stomach and that emotion deep within your soul? Can you hear it? See it? Feel it? Have you stopped to listen to anything lately?
Well for me, this is what happens. A collection of intuitive works with no rhyme or reasons, just pure creation. While I’m by no means a perfect listener, I’m definitely getting better at it. Not just by slowing down, but by paying attention to the everyday. Deep diving into the lessons my body is trying to teach me, the understandings my soul needs to learn, the feelings of my heart, the day-changing lyrics on radio, the mood altering weather, my dear friends ( who I would not be without ), the life-saving music, the perfection of flowers. Everything. Listening and learning. Always.
